Desperate mothers benefit from our Mama and baby projects. How much we take for granted and others hope & pray for.
These are just two of many. Making a difference where it counts. Thanks a bunch.

That’s the Mama & Baby Project.
Mama and baby plus grandmother.
Those we hold dear.
Our Mama & Baby Project reaches out to include those who worship with Urukundo. We care for little ones in need, not just newborns.
Hope is a bag of needed items for a newborn as part of our outreach at the Worship Center.
Our volunteer of the month is our own Hope Made Real International Board president, Carol Falke of Pennsylvania, USA.
Carol (flowered shirt) was welcomed by Oswald Ruremesha, Hope Made Real National Board president (black shirt), and Headmaster Viatuer Ngiruwonsanga (white shirt).
Two good-looking presidents: Oswald and Carol. Both are exceptional leaders.
Carol visited a new mama at the nearby birthing center. It is our joy to help to care for newborns and their mamas through our Mama & Baby project.
Mother and grandmother welcome twins. So now we are the “Mama, Baby and Gram project”? How about that? I like the concept. It touches my heart even more.
May 16 was a productive day. Six new babies were born at the birthing center.
Thanks to the many suitcases with new and slightly used baby clothes that Mama; Drew Kahn from SUNY Buffalo College in the USA; and Carol Falke brought. Our Mama and Baby shelves have supplies to last for some time. Olive sorts and fills the shelves.
Thanks to all of you who hold this project dear.
Very happy young mothers. New clothes for their babies. What precious gifts! The clothes and the babies. You are there. Thank you.
Baby Bruno grew while I was away. Bruno is a neighborhood baby that Urukundo took on as a special project when his mom died of covid at his birth. He is loved.
Our shelves are full again. These are just some of the baby clothes that came back with me for the Mama and Baby project. Thanks to all of you that made this possible.
The Mama and Baby project got a boost with clothing and hygiene articles brought back in suitcases.
Babies continue to bless our lives.
Mama & Baby project is so appreciated.
Baby Bruno lost his mama at birth to Covid-19. As a neighbor, we will do our part. Urukundo will help his family provide care for this beautiful baby boy.
Our first help is clothing from the Mama & Baby project.
Our next help is day care. Staff members Josephine and Anitha along with curious kids welcome the little boy.
Eyes wide open.
The Mama and Baby Project continues to serve the community.
Precious
Meet three of the 12 newborns at the birthing center. It’s so wonderful to have clothes and your love to share with the babies and their families.
Mama and baby project is back in action, thanks to a new way of thinking, sharing and caring.
Urukundo went shopping.
The new way is hosting a baby shower for Urukundo. At this shower, guests donate money that can be used in Rwanda to buy baby clothes and other items so needed for families.
Kavine, Claudine and Sarah help Chantel sort and fold baby clothes to be put into layettes for gifts to mamas and newborn babies.
Shelves now have supplies for newborns. The response from donors has been wonderful.
