Hope Made Real distributes funds to a variety of projects and individuals, including the Urukundo Learning Center, the Cyeza Sector Support project, and community construction projects, While Hope Made Real will make every effort to distribute donated funds as requested, Hope Made Real retains ultimate authority in deciding how to use any contributions to further its purpose of assisting the poor, homeless, orphaned or other displaced persons in Rwanda.

Here’s a list of some of the costs to give you a sense of how little it takes to make a difference in a child’s life in Rwanda.

• Primary tuition is $50 per term 3 terms per year.

• Secondary school is $900 per year, including room, board, school supplies, pocket money, and transport. (All secondary schools in Rwanda are boarding schools.)

• University or Technical school is $6,000 per year. This amount includes room, board, school supplies, and transport depending on the location of the school.

Hope Made Real is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Hope Made Real are tax deductible. HMR financial records are being audited by independent auditors in accordance with guidelines established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The HMR 990 is available upon request.
