This will be an all-purpose classroom.The main use will be the Sewing Center.

From my window, this addition now blocks my view of the mountain. Progress sometimes is wonderful, but it changes the environment. I miss seeing the cows walking across the ridge to graze.
Having a classroom connected to the Sewing Center is a requirement of the Ministry of Education. The curriculum requires not just sewing but English as a second language, business and entrepreneurship. The classroom is also more convenient for the students and teachers. The Sewing Center already has earned a Level 1 qualification, which permits it to give a diploma to its students.
Work began June 17.

New facility in use
While our students were serving internships at other schools, we welcomed Theophile Mukamusoni from Raza to our school.
This is a process of a teacher teaching a teacher. Theophile is a teacher at Future4Kids, the nonprofit headed by my good friend Otto Fischer from Austria. It is good for us and for Future4Kids to partner and help each other when we can.
After two weeks, our intern displayed her work. Skirts, shirts, dresses, handbags, jacket -- even a dress for Mama. A fashion show was at the sewing Center. Congratulations, Theophile. Well done
