Visitors for August, 2009
- This team is from SMU. Dallas Texas and part of the Human Rights Education Program from that University under the leadership of Dr. Rick Halperin spent a day with us. Brittany Gonzalez was our volunteer of two months and a dedicated worker is a part of this team. She is a recent graduate from that University.
- They choose to eat with the kids and then learned how to build a wall Rwanda style.
- We all had a great and productive time while they were here. The visit was too short.
- Carmen Luz Carrasco was a one day visitor she is from Mexico.
- Gordon Potter is from Australia. He also was a one day visitor. He and Carmen are trauma therapists and part A. P. F.T. Foundation working in Rwanda. We were delighted to have them visit Urukundo Village and meet the kids.
Ruthie is a return visitor and expects to come every year as long as God is in charge of her travels. Ruthie is a singer and teacher and had several DVD’s out. She gave us some for our enjoyment. She has a beautiful voice. She is also a craft person and very creative. Her visit was for 3 days much too short. Thank you for coming Ruthie.

Arlene, The work with the children and visitors continues to amaze me and glorify God. I look forward to being with you, even for only a week to get to know the new children and pour our and receive love from all.
Blessings,
Cindy G.

Hi Patti
I look forward to seeing you while I am in Pa visiting my family. You, my dear, are part of my family and have been since you were a teenager. The visit should take place in July and August. Love hearing from you.
